Malayalam department conducted the programme ,P.
Kesavdev anusmaranam on 01-07-2019 in Mini auditorium at 11 a.m. Mrs.Maya
S.Nair gave a welcome speech.Principal
Prof. D Jayaprasad inaugurated the programme. Head of the Dept.Dr.Reena
A.M.chaired the function.felicitation had done by Mr.Sreejith kumar V. S.,
Dr.Sheethal V.S.(Teachers dept.of Malayalam) and Yeswanth, representative of
college union .Chief guest Mr.P.S. Shanu (Secretary,Library Counsil.Thalappilli
Taluk) Presented about P.Kesavdev.He
told about the characters of kesavadev.and the influence of them in the society
at that time. He pointed out the contemporary writers of him
Takazhi,varky,Basher etc. All of them are the social reformers through their
writings. Devaprabha Malayalam association secretary gave vote of thanks.
Many students participated in the programme. After
there had a debate. at the time the
students appreciated the programme. And they comment the talk was very useful
to them.
